“Saying Goodbye to Cairns” (Day 14)

We had packed our luggage and were ready to go back to Hong Kong very early this morning! We had a wonderful study tour in Cairns, Australia. We had lots of special experiences such as city hunt, making new friends in a local school, visiting the zoo and learning about coral reef and marine life. We couldn’t forget our enjoyable moments in the painting of boomerangs and cooking the ANZAC cookies.

We also enjoyed the trips to explore the nature, the Green Island and the Rainforestation. It was fun playing in water and looking for shells on the Green Island.

The lessons were great. We learnt lots of things and our English teachers tried their best to let us understand what they were talking about. I miss them so much. I bet that my classmates will definitely miss the teachers and their homestay parents, too. This was a great trip.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Australian teachers, Elaine and Chelsey, for their kindness and patience in teaching our students. We also appreciate the efforts of the tour leader, Yoyo Kwan, for her help and support in the whole tour. Lastly, we would also express our gratitude to all those friendly Australians we have encountered and the warm hospitality they showed us in the tour."
