“Barbecue at The Seashore” (Day 13)

Today we were divided into three groups before the lesson break. One student in the group should stick a card on his/her head and guess what it was about by asking his/her group members questions. Our group could successfully guess some of the words in the game. It was fun.

Then, the teacher divided all of us again into two bigger groups. First, Elaine showed one student in each group a word and they could only draw pictures to tell their group members what the word was. The group which could guess the most words won. Luckily, we were the winning group. We got 14 marks while the other group only got 9. This game was exciting and funny in the sense you might find it difficult to draw the picture to tell the others.

In the afternoon, we had barbecue at the seashore. The boys roasted the meat while the girls were cutting the onions and mushrooms. Our final products were lots of tasty hamburgers and hot dogs. We had also tried kangaroo meat that tasted like viscera. Although I didn’t like the kangaroo thing, I did enjoy the barbecue.
